We are tracking and analyzing our email activities to improve communication with our customers. Among the numbers we track are responds time, word count, words used, daily and weekly email traffic. This helps us optimize our services.

In the long-run, this will help us lower our response time, optimize our email messages to avoid overwhelming our customers with too much 'blabla', balance email traffic, and analyze which terms are most important to our customers.

The tool we are using is Enterprise Gmail Meter, a report application for Google Enterprise.Below graphs show sample data from one of our reports.
